| Description: | Corning Country Club is an 18 hole private club established in 1919 and located in New York's Finger Lake Region. The club was also the site of the LPGA Corning Classic from 1979-2009. Current projects include bentgrass fairway renovation, tee construction, and an aggressive tree removal program. Applicant must be self motivated, detail orientated, and have strong communication skills. Assistant will also be expected to manage staff and assist with personnel decisions. A successful candidate will also be directly involved with creating daily, weekly, and long term work schedules. Will also be expected to perform technical tasks such as product application, hand watering, set up irrigation schedules and repairs. |
| Qualifications: | 2 or 4 year degree in Turf related major. |
| Compensation: | $35,000 to $42,000/year, Health benefits, 401K, lunch and uniforms provided, local and national dues, educational seminars, Golf Industry Show (depending on performance review and club finances), vacation/sick time, cell phone allowance, temporary housing, golfngi privileges. |
