Bucks for Turf
Dear Fellow Turfgrass Professionals:I have donated a foursome of golf with carts to the Bucks for Turf auction and I hope that you will consider donating an item to the auction as well.
The Bucks for Turf auction is an opportunity for us to support our Foundation and our mission by offering the general public a chance to bid on items they may not typically have access to. Whether you have access to rounds of golf, tickets to a sporting event or another unique item, the things we may take for granted because we are around it every day…others would consider an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Last year’s auction featured rounds of golf at public and exclusive private facilities, tickets to football and baseball games and much, much more. These items were received from members and supporters from all over the United States and even an item from Europe! The revenue generated from this initial campaign played an integral role in allowing us to further our support of research and education within the industry we have chosen to make a living.
Again, please consider joining me in supporting the Bucks for Turf auction, which is scheduled to begin in late May.
